About Boss Minis
Boss Miniatures and Gaming was founded in 2016 as a Web-store by Scott "The Boss". In the first year of trading, the website picked up some loyal customers until I gained the confidence to take the risk of opening the first bricks and mortar store.
The initial shop opened in late November 2017 with the aim of being Weymouth's dedicated War-games shop, but it quickly became clear from the customers that they wanted more than War-gaming. Requests for Dungeons and Dragons and Magic the Gathering flooded in and became the staples of the community which grew rapidly to the point that the shop was packed on Tuesdays for D&D and Fridays for Friday Night Magic.
In October 2019 Boss Minis won the Golden Broom Award - a local accolade, awarded to the independent business who received the most votes from customers based on a number of categories. It's wonderful to be recognised amongst our peers and I put that squarely down to the amazing community that supports Boss Miniatures and play in the shop.
With the communities growing and more customers finding the shop, the time came to move the shop and community to a new home....
In March 2020, against the back drop of the Corona virus Pandemic, Boss Minis moved to King Street to a much larger shop, with space to grow the services, community and stock ranges.
Now well established and a truly unique business in the local area, Boss Miniatures And Gaming offers top class customer service, a safe place to meet like minded people of all ages, amazing products, refreshments and a first rate web-store!
